Business Unit Manager


Our client (a highly regarded manufacturer whose products are in some of the most unique and beautiful places in the United States) is looking for an outgoing, open-minded, fact-oriented and humble Business Unit Manager to develop a culture of open communication, lead positively and build on their strategic plan as you run their business in the U.S. and Canada and are involved with key rep agencies and on the market side of the business!

Your experience as Business Unit Manager, President, Division Manager or General Manager, your track record of success in interior or exterior architectural lighting fixtures, your willingness to learn from others, your superior listening and people skills and your ability to think outside of the box will all come into play as you assure that all necessary resources are in place.

Our ideal client is currently a Business Unit Manager, President, GM or CEO with a minimum revenue responsibility of $20-$50M who thinks outside the box, is a great team player with excellent people skills and is someone who can speak for the business. Your ability to develop a strong relationship with the Business Unit Managers of our clients other companies/divisions is also important. Shared Services and/or a matrix structure experience is a very big plus, as is acquisitions experience. BS/BA very highly preferred; MBA a plus though not essential. Travel 20-35%.
