Chief Operating Officer/President

Our client (one of the most strategically-positioned manufacturers in lighting) is seeking a hands-on, results-minded and strategic Chief Operating Officer/President with a high sense of urgency and good leadership skills to lead the day to day management of the company including overseeing our client’s sales, marketing, global supply chain, engineering, operations, and human resources officers!

You’ll use your experience as a President, COO or GM of a $150-200M+ manufacturer or division, your ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ style and your skills in efficiency and execution as you oversee operations, engineering, sales, marketing, sourcing, H/R---essentially managing all aspects of our client’s company. Plus, this role is almost a straight path to the CEO role within 1-3 years!

Our ideal candidate is currently a Chief Operating Officer, President GM or acting CEO with complete P&L responsibility with a company/division having revenue of a minimum of $150-200M. Our ideal candidate is working or has worked for a Fortune 500 or aspiring Tier 2 company and has a solid track record of significant revenue increases in his/her roles. Flashy prima donnas are not a fit for our client’s team-oriented, humble, team-focused culture. M&A experience is a plus as is experience working under a PE or VC firm. BS degree is essential. Your leadership will be very well-rewarded, and equity and ownership are part of this opportunity. 25% travel.
