DIRECTOR OF SALES, IoT & ALLIANCES


Our client [a software provider standing in the middle of the intersection of Lighting and IoT] is seeking a very tech-savvy, energetic, open-minded, flexible, hands-on and hard-working Director of Sales and Alliances, IoT to help with opening doors, creating alliances with retailers, internet and telecom companies!   

You will utilize your e-commerce experience/expertise, your experience dealing with multiple channels, your understanding of technology, your ability to open relationships with other IoTs and to develop relationships and close deals as you focus on selling to big name retailers in the US and Canada!  Your experience with Google Nest, SmartThings, Belkin WeMo, Cisco and/or Amazon Echo will also serve you well in this exciting role. Your ability to develop relationships with other IoT partners such as Google and/or Amazon will be important, as well.   

Our ideal candidate is on the telecom side working with retail, on the retail side working with retail, or with a lighting IoT player and is an e-commerce specialist who has dealt with multiple channels.  Additionally, our ideal candidate is a hunter, not a farmer, has an international outlook and viewpoint and a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ style and is able to work without a lot of structure.  You must be able to  develop relationships and close deals!   Degree highly preferred; 40-50% travel.
