Our client [a lighting manufacturer whom we’ve placed with before that is very proud of their employee longevity] is seeking a very aggressive, hardworking National Sales Manager with excellent people skills to increase sales with existing customers in the builder market and develop new customers as well! 

You will use your excellent knowledge of residential and/or decorative lighting, your strong planning skills and your willingness to learn new things as you strengthen our client’s relationships with existing builders, developers and contractors as well as increase market share in the builder sector and make joint calls with your rep agent network.  

Our ideal candidate is currently a National Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, or Regional Sales Manager who has experience with residential lighting (ideally in more than one region).  Additionally, our client will consider someone working for a rep agency (either as a Principal/Partner or sales representative) if in a major market. You must be very familiar with calling on residential builders, contractors and developers and have good relationships with independent sales reps.   A minimum of 10 years’ decorative and/or residential lighting experience is essential.  BS/BA Degree preferred (but not essential); 30-50% travel.
