Our client [a global company with a very positive culture where ‘every voice matters’] is seeking an enthusiastic, strategic, high-energy, proactive, personable and very trustworthy Regional  Sales Manager for the Central US to call on lighting fixture manufacturers, set goals and objectives for the region while being mindful of market share and bring in new customers while maintaining existing business! 

You will utilize your excellent contacts in the fixture world, your strong technical aptitude and strong closing skills, your ability to build relationships quickly, your strong follow-up and understanding of the component business as you focus on building the Midwest region, particularly the Chicago and Wisconsin areas as you talk shop with the engineering and manufacturing teams at your manufacturing clients.  

Our ideal candidate is an OEM Sales Manager with knowledge of chips, components, drivers, modules, emergency exit products, power supplies, and/or ballasts, but a candidate with a fixture manufacturer  who has an excellent technical sense will also be considered!  Our ideal candidate is also someone whose customers appreciate them, has good follow-up skills and is well-prepared. Additionally, this person will be warm, genuine and take an active approach to their role.  You should currently be based in Chicago, but candidates in Wisconsin and St. Louis will be considered.  BS/BA Degree highly preferred (but not essential), Engineering degree a plus. 50% travel.
