Career Opportunities

Our client (an extremely stable manufacturer with offices in several countries with excellent employee longevity) seeks an enthusiastic, flexible, energetic and competitive and very coachable Regional Sales Engineer to cover the Northeast U.S. to identify and generate new business opportunities that will assist them in growing their business in the New York City and Northeast area and who will make calls with their rep agents!

Your knowledge of track/recessed lighting, high-end architectural lighting, LEDs and/or controls and your ability to sell on value and performance rather than price will be assets to you as you make recommendations of new products to add to our client’s portfolio based on feedback you receive in the field as well as analyze market conditions, competitive products and product trends.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Sales Engineer, Sales Representative, Applications Engineer or Sales Field Engineer who is technology-oriented, respectful, a go-getter, and takes the initiative!  Our ideal candidate lives in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Boston, Philadelphia or possibly Baltimore/D.C.!  Your familiarity with UL safety codes is desirable, not critical, as is your knowledge of lighting control systems.  Degree highly preferred; experience with or similar system is not critical, but a real plus.  75% travel.

If you want a career, not a job, send us your resume along with an accomplishment that best demonstrates your most significant work. Include this in your email response and we’ll read it first.

"Up until now, I had lost faith in recruiters and recruitment firms. I was simply tired of being treated like just another resume, and not a talented, working professional.  Paul Pompeo changed my perception altogether. Paul is a true professional. He is thorough, pays close attention to detail, works with his candidates every step of the way. Plus, Paul offers the type of advice that really counts in today's competitive market. I wish there were 100 Paul Pompeo's out there placing hard working management professionals in their respective industries."
