SOUTHERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER


Our client (a very customer service-oriented manufacturer with an excellent reputation in the industry) is seeking an energized, organized Southern Regional Sales Manager to get to know the reps and specifiers and then maintain and grow those relationships!

You will utilize your strong background in high-end specification lighting, your excellent presentation and follow-up skills and your experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Specification Sales Representative with a rep agency as you maintain our client as a primary source for the specification community, follow-up on existing projects, get our client specified on new projects, and work with your reps and specifiers to get projects moving. Your high level of autonomy will be very important as you work the specification chain and connect frequently with the design community. In addition, you will work with your rep agents as partners.

Our ideal candidate is currently a very self-directed Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, or an outgoing, sales-oriented Lighting Designer who is able to think on their feet with great verbal communication skills with the ability to work without a lot of guidance or direction and who has good time management skills. Someone involved with the IES is a real plus! In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow into a National Sales Manager’s role (or possibly a VP’s role) if you prove yourself over the next 3 to 5 years! Our ideal candidate is currently based in a major Southern city---Texas is ideal, but outstanding candidates in other major metro areas such as Atlanta or Denver will also be considered! BS/BA degree is preferred (but not essential); 60-70% travel.
