Business Development Manager, New York
Our client [a very niche service provider focusing on long-term customer relationships] is seeking a high-energy, experienced, outgoing Business Development Manager to build relationships with national account end users (multi-family markets, healthcare, retail chains and portfolio owners) in the greater NYC area!
You will utilize your excellent closing skills, your experience with lighting projects, your experience selling a service or product and your expertise building relationships as you write new business, establish relationships as well as maintaining some existing accounts.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Sales Representative, Account Executive or a Business Development Manager with an ESCO or contractor in the New York or New Jersey area with experience calling on national accounts or larger regional or local accounts with multiple locations. Our candidate is currently living in the five boroughs, northern New Jersey, Long Island or possibly Philadelphia! Experience calling on either property management firms, apartment complexes, assisted living communities and/or large healthcare facilities is a real plus! This is not about calling on distributors or contractors—our client company seeks a true professional calling on end users. BS degree is a plus, but your successful track record is more important! 20% travel to any out of state national accounts (when travel returns).
