Our client (a rapidly expanding, growth focused company who is continually taking market share!) is seeking an outgoing, very customer-oriented Sales Representative to call on contractors in the Cleveland metro area!
You will utilize your excellent knowledge of the contractor market, your good personality, superior closing skills and attention to detail as you call on contractors (electrical primarily, some GCs also), establishing personal relationships, negotiating projects, following up on leads, and closing sales.
Our ideal candidate is currently an Outside Sales Representative (or possibly an aggressive Inside Sales Representative or Lighting Specialist with a distributor ready to expand their career) and is currently working for an electrical contractor, distributor, rep agency or possibly a manufacturer. Experience with bid work is highly preferred, but design-build experience is good, too! Strong relationships with ECs such as Zenith, Lake Erie Electric and/or Einheit would all be a plus. Degree a plus, but not critical; very little overnight travel.
