Our client (a global manufacturer of LED lighting) is seeking a patient, hands-on, ‘roll up your sleeves’ Director of U.S. Operations to serve as the de facto site leader for the U.S. headquarters and warehouse, overseeing key back-office functions such as warehousing, customer service, HR, and IT while driving operational excellence from factory to warehouse!

You will use your expertise in operations, strategic planning, and technology integration to optimize processes and systems, and your experience with electrical or lighting products as you collaborate closely with our client’s global COO, leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline operations as well as implementing NetSuite WMS. You’ll use your strong communications skills, willingness to learn new technologies, strong time management and collaboration skills (both with the U.S. and global teams) as you lead the building of a light assembly area for architectural products.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Director of Operations or Senior Operations Manager with experience in electrical or lighting products. Our ideal candidate also thrives in a fast-paced, tech-savvy environment and enjoys walking the warehouse floor to engage with your team. This is a unique opportunity to lead in a flat, non-bureaucratic organization that values innovation and operational excellence! Experience with NetSuite (especially the WMS module) and/or SPS Commerce for EDI are highly preferred; Microsoft 365 is essential. BS Degree highly preferred; occasional travel required to collaborate with global teams.
