Our client, a very successful organization with tremendous growth opportunity is seeking a polished, confident, experienced, team-oriented and self-starting Director of Sales for the Home Center/DIY channel to be in front of their home center customers and oversee and interface with their product development processes!

You will utilize your deep DIY channel experience, strong understanding of channel strategy (and potential conflicts) and sales cycles, your very open communication style  and your excellent listening skills as you work strategically with buyers, presenting products, and advocating for the channel within the company.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Director of Sales, VP of Home Center Sales, or Channel Manager (or perhaps a  Buyer from the channel looking to move to a manufacturer) who is familiar with interior and/or exterior decorative lighting and has a track record of success in the home improvement channel (ideally Home Depot and/or Lowes)!  An understanding of the sales fulfillment process, both internally and with customers, as well as CRM experience is critical. Degree preferable, but not required; 50% travel.
