Director of Sales, Midwest
Our client [with whom we have placed several people, some of whom have been promoted] is seeking a self-directed, polished, dynamic, focused and entrepreneurial Director of Sales to cover the Midwest with a special focus initially on the Chicago Metro area!
Your experience as a Regional Manager or Specification Sales Representative [or possibly a very well-connected lighting design professional], your connections in the lighting design community and with the IES and your familiarity with architectural lighting will all serve you well as you work with your rep agent network and lighting designers, holding Zoom meetings and presentations [as well as in-persons where appropriate] in Chicago and the Midwest.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Specification Sales Manager, Specification Sales Representative or outgoing Lighting Designer and is willing to learn new products, is results-oriented, enjoys the company (both virtual and literal) of rep agents and lighting designers and is an ‘A’ player! IALD involvement is a real plus but not critical. Degree is preferred but not essential; 40-50% travel If based in Chicago) when restrictions are lifted].
