Director of Sales, Northeast
Our client company (who has invested a great deal in new product R&D and quadrupled their engineering team) is seeking a dynamic, polished, well connected and results oriented Director of Sales for the New York City and Northeast U.S. to work with their independent rep agencies and specifiers!
You will use your experience in this major market, your understanding of the specification channel and excellent relationships with designers and architects as well as your familiarity with interior architectural lighting as you drive strong growth, initially focusing on the New York City metro area.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Regional Sales Manager or Specification Sales Representative with experience calling on specifiers in the New York metro region as well as the greater Northeast market. Our ideal candidate also is a true hunter, who wants to own what she/he does, is driven and self-motivated, can build strong relationships with rep agencies and truly enjoys hanging with lighting designers! IES and IALD involvement is a real plus. BS/BA degree preferred (but not critical); 40-50% travel [once conditions allow].
