Our client company (a respected architectural lighting manufacturer who is very employee-oriented with minimal drama or turnover) is seeking a down-to-earth, reliable, very approachable and hands-on Director of Sales & Marketing with excellent management experience to build their sales strategy, lead their sales and marketing teams, continue to develop and enhance relationships with their agency network and the specification community, and drive strong growth!

You will use your leadership success in architectural lighting (indoor preferred but could also be exterior or decorative or possibly residential) and your excellent communications skills as you build effective teams and make sure you have the right people in the right places! You will also work closely with our client’s principals as a member of our client’s executive team.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Vice President or Director of Sales & Marketing, a Vice President or Director of Sales with a good working understanding of marketing (or possibly a senior Regional Vice President with a proven track record of generating and increasing revenue). Our ideal candidate is also organized, a do-er rather than a talker—who takes ownership, is very easy to talk to and understands nurturing, growing, and leading a team. This is a key position for our client and will contribute to their strategic vision going forward! Management experience is required; BS/BA degree preferred (but not critical); 20-50% travel.
