Eastern Regional Sales Director
Our client [a manufacturer with very sophisticated logistics systems and a strategically located eastern distribution center] has asked us to identify a hard-charging, entrepreneurial and self-motivated Regional Sales Director to help develop their presence in the Northeast and review and add to their Eastern Seaboard rep network so that it is diversified among construction, distribution (and some specification) markets!
You will utilize your experience in lighting and lighting retrofit, your attention to detail, your strong work ethic, track record of success, experience with distributors, some contractors and some ESCOs combined with your ability to hit the ground running as you manage our client’s team of reps and forecast sales. Your innate ability to establish relationships and develop friendships will also contribute to your success.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Regional Manager, Territory Manager or Market Development Manager covering a multi-state region and is well versed in renovation, retrofits and rebate programs. Our ideal candidate is a hunter (not a farmer or shepherd) wants to make a lot of money (our client’s incentive plan has no ceiling!) and currently lives in New York, New Jersey, Boston, or possibly Atlanta. NEMRA agency relationships are a plus. Degree a plus but not essential. 50% travel (when it returns).
