Regional Sales Director, Central Southern U.S.
Our client (a well-known manufacturer experiencing consistent year-over-year growth) is seeking a professional, aggressive, and very organized Regional Sales Director to cover the Central Southern U.S. and run this region like it’s her/his own business as they manage agent customer relationships—training them and making them aware of new product introductions!
You will utilize your experience managing rep agencies (NEMRA rep experience a real plus), your understanding of stock and flow, and your experience calling on distributors and ESCOs will aid you as you work with your rep agencies to increase their quote success rate. Deep foundational knowledge of lighting combined with an aggressive hunter mentality will help you as you work with our client’s agents at the distributor level, make presentations and create programs to get our client into heavy stocking positions with new potential wholesalers. Your quick ship experience will also contribute to your success.
Our ideal candidate is a mover and a shaker, a terrific relationship builder and is currently a Regional Sales Manager in the Dallas or Houston metro areas, but an outstanding Outside Sales Representative working with distributors who is a terrific relationship builder and is ready to move up (or an RVP or Vice President of Sales that would like to get back to dealing directly with customers) is a possibility as well. Candidates in San Antonio or Austin will also be considered. Experience working for a major manufacturer is highly preferred. Up to 50% travel; BS degree preferred but not essential.
