Our client, a leading manufacturer of architectural lighting, is seeking a technically astute and hands-on Sales Director – to lead regional sales efforts to drive market expansion and revenue growth across the Central U.S. with a special focus on the Chicago and Dallas/Houston territories!
Your experience managing independent manufacturer representatives and strong technical base will serve you well as you conduct product training and make joint sales calls, oversee project pipeline management, ensuring updated pricing, samples, and crossovers as you engage with key stakeholders by collaborating with architects, designers, and specifiers to drive product specifications and increase sales. Your strategic planning and execution skills will also help you as you focus on large-scale opportunities and high-margin projects and contribute significantly to our client’s growth trajectory.
Our ideal candidate lives in the greater Chicago Metro area; or Dallas or Houston (or possibly Minneapolis or St. Louis) and is currently a Specification Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager or possibly an outgoing and very people-oriented Lighting Designer. Additionally, our ideal candidate is hungry to win, works extremely well with others, and thinks in terms of “we” versus “I”. Degree helpful, but not critical. 40-60% travel.
