Our client (a well-respected design firm that is very proud of the depth and breadth of their projects) is looking for a collaborative, hands on, down to earth and very detail-oriented Senior Lighting Designer with good technical acumen to interface with clients to understand their needs and create responsive designs, do fixture research, and visit construction sites while leading a design team!

Your true passion for lighting design, your lighting vocabulary, strong communications skills, experience with Revit and/or CAD, and your ability to manage a project from start to finish will serve you well as you coordinate with reps and do site visits on projects large and small. Our client prides themselves on being a very integrated team, with a strong focus on work life balance – “we work to live, not live to work.”

Our ideal candidate is currently a Senior Lighting Designer or possibly a lighting designer ready to move up to that next step but a candidate with a manufacturer or rep agency who has a degree in architecture, interior design or architectural engineering will also be considered! Our ideal candidate currently lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area (or willing to relocate) and is very deadline oriented and self-motivated. AGi32 and ElumTools are both preferred but not essential. Degree a plus, not critical; very little travel.
