Vice President of Distribution Sales
Our client (a well-known player in the industry who is poised for growth) is seeking a relationship-based and team-oriented Vice President of Distribution Sales to oversee their entire wholesaler channel working with their network of rep agencies and keeping them focused throughout the U.S. as you broaden their national footprint!
You will utilize your excellent national network of electrical distribution contacts and comfort with analytics as you build strong contractor relationships and create a balanced influence of leverage between creating demand at contractor level and also working with leads from your rep agencies! This is not a stock and flow business—it’s not about getting products on distributors’ shelves, but rather a project-based business, working proactively with your rep agent network.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Vice President of Sales with a manufacturer or wholesaler, a Director of Sales, a National Sales Manager or possibly a Regional Vice President truly ready for that next step. Experience with new construction, agricultural and dairy farm channels are big plusses. Management experience of a direct team is essential. Degree highly preferred, but not critical; 50% travel.
