Vice President of Sales
Our client (who already has a great team in place and some unique competitive advantages) is seeking a principled, very strategic and transparent Vice President of Sales to grow their rep force sales and manage their regional managers and inside sales team as you work closely with their electrical and lighting distributor customers!
You will utilize your ability to see the ‘big picture’ and focus on the ‘macro’, not just the ‘micro’ as you create and implement processes and systems for your teams to follow. Your strong budgeting and forecasting skills and your P&L experience will be important as you review our client’s sales strategy and recommend any changes.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Director of Sales, Vice President of Sales or National Sales Manager who has managed a direct sales team and is able to hold him/herself and their subordinates accountable. Additionally, our ideal candidate is familiar with selling to multi-family and commercial industrial (warehouses, office buildings, etc.). BA highly preferred, MBA a real plus. 50% travel when restrictions are removed (estimated mid-2021).
