Vice President of Sales
Our client (who has been an established A player for over 60 years working on some of the largest projects in the nation) is seeking an aggressive, hard-working, self-motivated and hands-on Vice-President of Sales to work directly with contractors throughout the U.S.
You will utilize your excellent network of contractor relationships, superior closing skills and self-motivation as you build your own personal brand within our client’s brand as you write business on key construction projects. This is not about making joint calls with rep agents or calling on distributors, but about being in the middle of the sales action and making things happen.
Our ideal candidate is proud to be a ‘closer’ and is currently a Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager or Vice President of Sales covering a large area of the country in major markets. An outstanding and ambitious contractor salesperson who is ready to jump up a step up or two will also be considered! Our ideal candidate loves to write business and also can differentiate between who will, won’t and who might be a successful prospect and is very comfortable with a lot of autonomy. Must live within one hour of a major airport. 50% travel [when travel opens up]. Degree a plus but not at all essential.
