Vice President of Sales

Our client [an architectural lighting manufacturer who pride themselves on their flexibility and ability to truly listen to the customer] is seeking a proactive, assertive, very computer-savvy Vice President of Sales with superior closing skills and great follow-up to manage and grow their sales team and continue to develop and enhance relationships with their agency network, the specification community and distributors as they take our client to the next level!

You will use your sales leadership success with indoor and/or outdoor lighting fixtures, your sense of fun and your ability to entertain agents and customers as you lead your sales team, be the ‘value-add’ for the channel and review our client’s rep network and make changes when needed.

Our ideal candidate is currently a Vice President of Sales, National Sales Manager, RVP, or Principal with a rep agency, is very customer-oriented and can lead their team and teach it as well! Our ideal candidate also is a dynamo, is not afraid to get their hands dirty, has long term vision and is able to speak across the spectrum with all the cooks in the lighting kitchen (lighting designer, contractor and distributor)! A road-warrior mentality is not a bad word in our client’s eyes. Salesforce software experience is a real plus, but not essential. Management experience is required. BS degree a plus, not critical; 50–60% travel.

If you want a career, not a job, send us your resume along with an accomplishment that best demonstrates your most significant work. Include this in your email response and we’ll read it first.
