Our client (a company with very strong core values who are the Warby Parker of the electrical industry) is seeking a scrappy, aggressive, and very entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to expand their reach into the contractor, developer, multi-family, and architectural channels!
You will utilize your superior closing skills, your experience selling lighting, transformer and/or power supplies, your ability to adapt quickly and great personality as you work with contractors, developers, specifiers and/or installers, establishing personal relationships, negotiating projects, following up on leads, and closing sales.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Sales Representative, Outside Sales Representative or perhaps an energetic and outgoing Inside Sales Representative who is ready for their next step, and currently working for a distributor, rep agency or possibly a manufacturer. Experience with integrators is a real plus but not critical. Degree preferred, not essential. Minimal travel.
