A long-standing client has retained Pompeo Group to identify a proactive, hands-on Electrical Engineer – PCB/Power Electronics to join their growing engineering team. This is a great fit for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, solving real design challenges, and seeing their work make an impact in production – whether in LED drivers, emergency lighting, power supplies, transformers, or surge-protection products.

You’ll lean on your PCB layout experience (Altium or similar), your grounding in power-electronics fundamentals, and your ability to collaborate across teams to take designs from schematic through prototyping, testing, refinement, and release. If you enjoy owning your work, troubleshooting creatively, and partnering with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable products, you’ll feel right at home here. And this role reports to a person that we had placed with our client!

Our ideal candidate is an engineer currently based in sunny Florida (or who is open to relocating) who brings their hands-on experience designing or supporting PCB-based power-electronics hardware. Our candidate is ideally familiar with AC/DC or DC/DC power supplies, LED-driver circuits, transformers, magnetics, EMI/EMC considerations, or multi-layer PCB layout. Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree highly preferred; very little travel.
