Our client (a U.S.-based lighting electronics manufacturer with a long and successful history) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Design Engineer to design and refine LED drivers (constant-current and constant-voltage), surge protection devices, AC–AC transformers, HID ballasts, and emergency lighting systems. You will be hands-on in the lab moving concepts through prototyping, qualification, and safety certifications while building real-world depth in power electronics and PCB design!
Your ease and comfort in creating schematics, BOMs, and layouts in Altium and your eagerness to support basic firmware updates will all come in handy as you select and qualify components, document test results, perform competitive benchmarking, and support sustaining engineering and PLM workflows. Effective communication and a willingness to lean in during critical deadlines are essential.
Our ideal candidate is an early-career BSEE with beginner-to-intermediate electronics and PCB skills, an innovative problem-solver ready to lead and optimize engineering function in power electronics design, this opportunity offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, a collaborative work environment, and a flexible schedule where your expertise will make a direct impact.
