Our client (a manufacturer with great global sources) is seeking a super-smart, hands-on, and ambitious Lead Manufacturing Engineer with a very positive attitude to oversee troubleshooting, working hand-in-hand with engineering and manufacturing to review the work that the team is doing online, and work with our client’s product engineers and their vendors as well!
Your ability to deal with complex issues, desire to grow and continually improve, and enjoyment being on the factory floor (versus being stuck behind a screen) will serve you well as you focus on process improvement, mentoring team members and providing leadership to your colleagues. You’ll get the opportunity to have a positive influence on supply chain and improvement in quality control, as well.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer, but a Quality Control or Test Engineer will be considered as would a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer who enjoys being in the middle of the action on the manufacturing floor! Our ideal candidate is currently located in the Northeast. BSEE, BSET, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering Degree highly preferred. ISO 9001 is a big plus! Very little travel.
