Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Our client company (with whom we’ve placed several people) has retained Pompeo Group to identify a hungry, eager, self-starting Northeastern Regional Sales Manager to identify C&I projects with end users, contractors and distributors and then pull these projects through their rep agent partners while growing market share in the Northeast!
Your strength in working autonomously, your consultative sales approach, can-do attitude combined with your desire to develop new business in your area, your ability to manage your pipeline, and your track record of closing sales – not just getting specs – will serve you well as you maintain current customer relationships but focus on and develop new business. Your ability to hit the ground running will contribute to your success and your skill in listening to and understanding your customers’ needs will enable you to work with them and the reps as their trusted advisor to find solutions to their questions.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Regional Sales Manager or Sales Representative with a distributor, manufacturer or rep agency and lives in Pennsylvania, Boston, or NYC metro, but New England and Connecticut are possible locations as well. Our ideal candidate also has a track record of success selling C&I fixtures, controls and/or components. Your manager is a respected industry veteran who is very hands-off – no micromanaging here! This is not as much about writing reports as it is about delivering results. 50% travel; degree preferable but not required.
