Pompeo Group’s client company (who has a great reputation) is seeking a self-motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented OEM Optics Sales Manager to help establish them as the preferred optical supplier to lighting OEMs, working closely with engineering and R&D teams on custom (non-commodity) solutions to establish our client as the preferred partner for complex, custom optical components!

You will use your background in selling, marketing, or engineering optics within OEM channels, your understanding of metals and plastics, and your ability to ask the right technical questions to help shape customer-specific solutions, as you then gradually expand to selling a variety of high quality OEM components. Your optics experience will serve you well as you work as a technical peer to our client’s engineering and R&D teams.

Our ideal candidate is currently an OEM Sales Manager, OEM Sales Representative, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Applications Manager/Engineer with a strong working knowledge of custom optics and/or high-end optical assemblies and is a hunter for optics opportunities! Our ideal candidate also possesses an understanding of material science, including metals, plastics, and thin-film coatings, along with the ability to ask the right technical questions to shape customer-specific outcomes. Experience with European companies is a plus; minimum of 3 years optics experience is critical; BS degree highly preferred; 25-50% travel.
