Our client company (with whom we have worked before) seeks a very hands-on, personable, extremely organized, and technically inclined Product Engineering Manager to facilitate the communication between your engineering teams and our client’s partner teams (production, design, customer service, supply chain and production scheduling) as well as staying up to speed on the latest technologies!
Your experience managing a technical team, your ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent communications skills (both factual and functional), as well as your ability to act as a facilitator will help you keep your team focused and on task. Your ability to mentor your team, improve quality and factory throughput and manage our client’s resources is just as important as coming up with solutions.
Our ideal candidate is currently a Product Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering in the Northeast U.S. and has experience with electrical or lighting products (although any type of electronic products that include aluminum housing, acrylics, extrusions and/or dye-castings will be considered). This is an executive role with our client party—you will have a seat at the table! BS in an Engineering discipline very highly preferred; 5-10 years’ minimum management experience required; travel minimal.
